Ok, since there arent many games for the PS3, i was wondering, since I really want to play the sims castaway, (but they only have it for PS2) Will it be compatible in my PS3?
I tried once with one game and it didnt work. So, will the sims castaway (only made for PS2) work in my PS3?

Only if you have a 20gb,60gb, or 80gb version of the PS3.40gb PS3’s DO NOT play PS2 games.

You are leaving out some very important information. What kind of ps3 do you have?
If you have a 40GB you CANNOT play ps2 games
If you have a 20GB 60GB or 80GB, you can play ps2 games

if you have a 40 gig PS3, it’s not going to work. only the 20, 80, and 60 gig models will play PS2 games.

ok,
20gb and 60gb play 100% or ps2 games
40gb-no ps2 games
80gb plays 80% of ps2 games

the 40 gig is the only one that wont work with ps2 games
